Welcome to the NorCal/KOAK Crew Base of SouthwestVirtual! Greetings NorCal pilots! My name is Eric Ness, (SWA2), the Crew Base Manager of the NorCal/KOAK Crew Base; my Crew Base Assistant Managers are Nick Marascio (SWVA7002) & Joseph Sherrill (SWVA7003) We all welcome you to look around and see the fun we are having at SWVA! I may be to blame since I've been a bad role model lately. I hope to get us back on track and get our great Crew Base to the top. Things have been very quite here I know. I think we all need to make some noise here and I need to rally the troops. Welcome to our new pilots and thanks to those who have put in the extra hours last month. Hope you all had a great 4rth. Be sure to check out this month's FOM and earn some extra credit. 6.13.10 Oh Boy, Who's Late? Oh boy NorCal, what can I say? I have not been doing my duties here at our great Crew Base. Things have come up in my personal life that needed my utmost attention. Things have settled a bit and I'm back to resume my duties as your manager. I'm sure Nick and Joe have been there to help ya all out since I've been away. I'd like to welcome our newest pilots and congrats to out top 5 pilots of last month of May. See you in the skies! 5.5.10 Making Some Noise Here! Holy Cow NorCal! Over 1300hrs filed last month for yet another new record both here in our Crew Base and at SWV for the most ever filed hours by a single Crew Base. I know it's been pretty quite here but I personally have been with more work and little play. But I assure you, I still have my heart set here with our great Crew Base. I'll be more active this month. Well done to out top five pilots and to our newest hired crews here at KOAK. See you in the skies. 4.1.10 Don't be fooled April is here and so is Spring. Lots of great weather and lots of great flying with over 900hrs filed last month. We we're very close to that 1000hr mark. Lots of new things going on at Southwest Virtual with the new events website. Be sure to check it out by clicking on the Events link on the left of this page, (Fly-Ins). Let's again welcome our new pilots here at NorCal's OAK Crew Base. We're glad to have you with us. Don't forget! It's the first of the month, don't be fooled. MuHaHaHa. 3.1.10 Spring is almost Here! March is upon us and you know what that means? March Madness. Though we had a slow month of last that does not mean NorCal is down and out. With Spring just around the corner I think it's time to reach for the hours we once knew; 1000+. We have some new faces here with us this month so let's give our newest pilots a warm NorCal welcome.
